TISS-NET EXAM 2021|REASONING QUESTIONS

 Each of the questions below, consist of a question and two statements numbered I and II. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question.

(1)              If the data in statement I is sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement II is not required to answer the question.

(2)              If the data in statement II is sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement I is not required to answer the question.

(3)              If the data in either statement I or data in statement II are sufficient to answer the question.

(4)              If the data in both the two statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question.

(5)              If the data in neither statement I nor in statement II are sufficient to answer the question.

1.          P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting around the circular table. Who is immediate right of U?

I) Only two persons sitting between V and Q. T is immediate right of Q. U is immediate right of V. Only two persons sitting between T and P. T is facing either V or P.

II)               U is second to right of P. Only two persons sitting between U and T. T and P are not

2.          P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are living in a building which has seven floors. Ground floor is numbered 1 till the top floor is numbered 7. Who lives in ground floor?

I) R lives immediate above to T, who lives in odd numbered floor. Two persons lives between R and S. V lives immediate above to S. V and T doesn’t lives immediate floors.

II)               The no. of persons lives above to P is same as to the below to P. Two persons lives between P and Q. V lives immediate below to Q. U and P lives immediate floors.

3.          Point S is in which direction from point T?

I) Point P is 4m east to point U, which is 3m north to point Q. point Q is 6m west to point T. Point S is 3m west to point R, which is 4m north to point p.

II)               Point P is 1m south to point T, which is 5m west to point R. Point U is 5m west to point Q, which is 7m south to point R. Point S is 4m south to point U.

4.          Eight color boxes Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, Purple, Brown and Orange color boxes are arranged one above another but not necessarily in the same order. Which is at bottom place?

I) Only two boxes between Red box and Pink box. Only one box is above to either Red box or Pink box. Three boxes between Pink box and Brown box.

II)               Blue box is immediate below to red box. Purple box is just above to Yellow box but neither of the box is immediate to Pink box. Green and Pink boxes are immediate boxes.

5.          Seven members A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting in a straight line facing north. Who is extreme left end?

I) C is third to the right of G. The no. of persons to the right of C is half of the no.of persons to the left of G. Three persons sitting between G and E.

II)               F is immediate right of D. The no. of persons to the right of D is same as to the left. G is second to right of A
